Secret Within the Sphere
2nd Assistant Camera and Best Boy
This was the first feature length film I worked on professionally. Secret Within the Sphere was a steampunk action movie shot in the central PA area. As second assistant director under George Winchell, Head of Photography, I received a lot of excellent mentorship.

Over the course of the film I was given the additional credit of "Best Boy" after quickly picking up skills in the lighting department as well. Thanks to the creative setting of the film, I was able to learn with some really unusual and exciting lighting set ups from the very beginning.

The ambitious schedules and occasionally harsh conditions of the sets on this film set me up well for later film experiences and I got a chance to direct the director during his cameo which was an honor.
