Ash

Awarded "Best Narrative Short" at the Erie International Film Festival, this project was inspired by a derelict quarry that was the site of a controlled burning that had covered the entire forest in ash. Therein was born the idea for a post-apocalyptic world that wanted to highlight the relief and comfort found in living plants, fresh air, and good food.

Directed by Wulfgar Rhamsey, this short film was an enjoyable weekend challenge that allowed our 4 person band explore our creativity and adaptability as our intended filming location fell through the morning of our shoot day. I worked with the team to break down the key elements from my storyboard and transpose them on a new location. In the end, the hurdle allowed us to showcase more of the burned forest and enhanced the final product.
